Why Xanadu-du?

These are some of the reasons for the creation of the land of Xanadu-du:

• Desiring to provide a network of people with a similar outlook - not everyone would pay money to be a Joking Cousin
  
• Wishing to encourage peace and friendship in a troubled world
  
• Honouring the great Malian tradition of Joking Cousins
  
• Providing support for clean water and state education in the wonderful town of Borko with its sacred crocodiles and the facinating region of the Dogon People
  
• Establishing gainful employment for at least two people
  
• Letting your imagination run riot in creating an incredible and amusing world
