All throughout the history of xanadu-du, fires have been started by rubbing two pieces of wood together. Unfortunately, due to our dry climate, a single spar has frequently been known to result in immense forest fires, such that trees are now all but extinct in xanadu-du. This is verrrrrrrrrrry bad for the global warming situation, which I am in charge of remedying. Therefore, I am presently engaged in the task of inventing a device which I call the safety stick. You can rub these two sticks together to your heart's content and you will never get a spark.
So..."What if I actually want to start a fire?" I hear you ask.
You are out of your tiny little mind, cousin...it is 30 degrees in the shade all year round. Why would you want to start a fire? If you want to fry an egg you can fry it on the back of a crocodile, just like I always do.
Now go away and stop interrupting my important research with these crazy accusations.
